Special cargo needs careful preparation
Dangerous goods and temperature-sensitive cargo require additional planning. Vehicle suitability, equipment, accompanying documentation and instructions at collection and delivery must all be considered. HART coordinates solutions that reflect these requirements.
ADR dangerous goods transport
For ADR enquiries, we assess the cargo classification and transport conditions. Essential information includes the UN number, hazard class, packing group, quantity, packaging type and any special instructions.
Feasibility depends on applicable ADR regulations, the nature of the goods, equipment and availability of qualified transport capacity.
Temperature-controlled road freight
For temperature-sensitive shipments, the permitted temperature range and loading requirements must be established in advance. We use this information to coordinate a suitable transport solution with the carrier.
If temperature records, additional monitoring or special handover procedures are required, they must be agreed before the shipment is confirmed.
Details required for a specialist quotation
Along with route and dates, please send an accurate cargo description, dimensions and weight, safety data sheet where relevant, ADR classification details and required temperature range.
